LIFT UP YOUR HEARTS
(PSALM 66)

Lift up your hearts to the Lord

Praise God’s gracious mercy!

Sing out your joy to the Lord, whose love is enduring.

Shout with joy to the Lord , all the earth!

Praise the name above all names!

Say to God, “how wondrous your works, how glorious your name!”

Let the earth worship, singing your praise.

Praise the glory of your name!

Come and see what God has revealed, bless God’s holy name!

God’s right hand made a path through the night,

Split the waters of the sea.

All creation, life up your voice: Our God set us free

Listen now, all you servants of God, as I tell of these great works.

Blessed be the Lord of my life, whose love shall endure!

GOD MY HEART IS STEADFAST
(PSALM 108A)

God, my heart is steadfast;

I will sing praises.

And with all my being

to You my song I'll sing.

Waken harp and psalt'ry;

dawn I will awaken,

With many peoples,

LORD, I thanks will bring.

LORD, among the peoples

I'll sing Your praises,

From among the nations

my praise to You will rise.

For Your lovingkindness

is above the heavens,

Your faithfulness

extends into the skies.

God, above the heavens

O be exalted,

And above all earth

may Your glory lifted be;

So that Your beloved

then may be delivered,

Save with Your right hand;

answer give to me.

O MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME
(PSALM 34)

At all times I will bless the LORD

And ever praise Him with my voice

My soul will make its boast in God

The humble hear it and rejoice

I sought the LORD in darkest night

He saved me by His glorious might

O look upon His holy face

And let your gloom be turned to light

O lift Your voices, praise His name

The Mighty God has power to save

O magnify the LORD with me

Let us exalt His name together

O magnify the LORD,

O magnify the LORD with me

O magnify the LORD with me

Let us exalt His name forever

O magnify the LORD,

O magnify the LORD with me

This poor man sought the LORD on high

To save him from his bitter plight

Then God arose with outstretched arm

To save him and to win the fight

The mighty angel of the LORD

Surrounds His saints and bears His sword

O fear the LORD upon His throne

For He will come to save His own

So let us all lift up His name

For God alone has power to save

Refrain

O taste and see that God is good

May every blessing come to you

How wonderful! How precious is His grace!

Though lions lack for want of food

The LORD will give you all that’s good

For those who fear His holy name

Every blessing they will claim

Refrain

O magnify the LORD with me

Let us exalt His name forever

O magnify the LORD,

O magnify the LORD with me

PSALM 11

In the Lord I put my trust

How can you say to my soul,

”Flee as a bird to your mountain”?

For look! The wicked bend their bow,

They make ready their arrow on the string,

That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.

If the foundations are destroyed,

What can the righteous do?

The Lord is in His holy temple

The Lord’s throne is in Heav’n;

His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men

The Lord tests the righteous,

But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

Upon the wicked He will rain coals;

Fire and brimstone and a burning wind

Shall be the portion of their cup.

For the Lord is righteous,

He loves righteousness;

His countenance beholds the upright.

O GOD GIVE US YOUR BLESSING
(PSALM 67B)

O God, give us Your blessing, Extend to us Your grace,

And Cause to shine upon us the radiance of Your face;

In order that Your pathways would through the earth be known,

That You to ev'ry nation would Your salvation show.

O God, let peoples praise You; Let all the peoples praise.

Let nations come rejoicing, and songs of gladness raise;

For You will judge the peoples with perfect equity;

You will for all earth's nations their Guide and Leader be.

O God, let peoples praise You; Let all the peoples praise.

The earth has brought its bounty throughout its harvest days;

Since God, our God, will bless us; Yes, God will blessing send,

That all the earth may fear Him to its remotest end.

PRAISE HIS NAME
(PSALM 148)

Reaches of heaven, starry heights,

Lights of the evening, dancing in silent skies

Brilliance of morning, breaking day

O let them praise Him, praise His name.

O praise His name, O praise His name

Let all His wondrous works declare His praise!

Mightiest mountains, peaceful plains

Snowfall and fire, thundering ocean waves

Kings and their kingdoms, age to age

O let them praise Him, praise His name

Refrain x2

King enthroned in majesty

All things made by His decree

Hear creation’s melody,

Praise Him! Praise Him!

Ev’rything with life and breath

Ev’rywhere from east to west

Ev’ry heart raised from the dead

Praise Him! Praise Him!

Angels echo the refrain

“Jesus, Lamb for sinners slain!”

Name above all other names,

Praise Him!

Refrain x3

O GOD SHOW MERCY TO US
(PSALM 67C)

O God show mercy to us and bless us with Your grace,

And cause to shine upon us the brightness of Your face.

So that the whole world over may truly know Your way,

And so that Your salvation all nations see displayed.

O God let peoples praise You, let all the peoples praise.

Let nations come rejoicing and songs of gladness raise.

For You will judge the peoples with perfect equity,

To nations of the whole earth a governor You’ll be.

O God let peoples praise You, let all the peoples praise.

The Earth has brought its bounty throughout its harvest days.

Since God our Father bless us, yes God will blessing send.

That all the earth may fear Him, to its remotest end.

TASTE AND SEE
(PSALM 34)

I sought the Lord and He answered me

And delivered me from every fear

Those who look on Him are radiant

They'll never be ashamed

They'll never be ashamed

This poor man cried and the Lord heard me

And saved me from my enemies

The Son of God surrounds His saints

He will deliver them

He will deliver them

Magnify the Lord with me

Come exalt His name together

Glorify the Lord with me

Come exalt His name forever

O taste and see that the Lord is good

O blessed is he who hides in Him

O fear the Lord O all you saints

He'll give you everything

He'll give you everything

Let us bless the Lord

Every day and night

Never ending praise

May our incense rise

HAIL TO JESUS
(PSALM 110)

“Be seated here at my right hand,”

The LORD to my Lord did command,

“For of these heathen I will make

A kingly footstool for your sake.”

The LORD shall send your mighty rod

From Zion’s hill, the mount of God,

To smite your foes until they break;

The throne among them you must take.

Hail to Jesus; Christ is reigning

All will bow and all will name Him

Jesus, King of Kings

Upon your head a crown of dew,

Your morning makes the old things new.

And all who see your holy power

Will bow before you in that hour.

Melchizedek, a kingly priest

In You his line is now increased

Your life, the off'ring that you gave

The price was paid; you left the grave.

The kings who fight against my Lord

Shall taste His wrath and meet His sword

Upon their corpses He will look

Then drink to vengeance from a brook.

WE GIVE THANKS
(PSALM 107)

Once in the wilderness of our sin

We wandered lost and without hope

Into our desert waste God in grace

Came to restore and bring us home

Let the redeemed of God rise up and sing

We give thanks, O God, for your steadfast love

We give thanks, O God, for you are good,

Lord, You are good, we give thanks

Through every pain and trial you provide

Light in the dark of our distress

Lifting us from on high when we cry

Turning our grief to gratefulness

Let the reeemed of God rise up and sing

Refrain

You take the darkness and make it as light

Hearts that were dead in sin, You raise to life

You take a barren place and make it a spring

Let the redeemed of God rise up and sing

Let the redeemed of God rise up and sing!

Refrain
