What can I expect when I visit?
Shepherds of each local body lead their flocks as God leads them. Here are some answers to common questions you might have before your first visit.
What should I wear?
We welcome you to come as you are, whether its jeans, or a suit. You will see a good amount of both at our services!
Where should my children go?
At Christ the King, children are integral to our mission, because they are integral to God’s mission. We believe that parents are called by God to be the leaders of their children, so our worship services, along with all of our other gatherings, are filled with them!
We fight the cultural push to separate everyone into groups by age, background, etc. by doing life together as a body. You will see parents discipling their children throughout your visit at all times.
Bring on your children and do not mind the coos, crying, and parents stepping out. There is a nursing mother’s room in the back and quiet rooms downstairs with a stream of the service if you need more room to work more closely with your child.
What are your services like?
Our services aim to praise the One True God through singing, corporate catechism, public reading of scripture, and passage by passage pastoral instruction. Services are about 90 minutes long, starting at 10am and end before noon.
